Incessant Dribble (for G. Ricard)

by Joe Cramer

It drips
and rips

down the pages
of my soul
filling blank books
and blank looks
and even some odd
blank notebooks.

The words

d
r
i
b
b
l
e
on
incessantly
and I don't
know what to do

except to pen more

and hope someday
they
don't all end up
in some drawer.

(Or in neat, tidy
bundles like Emily's)

So I drip,
drip
d
r
o
p
these words
on a page

in the hope that

you,
gentle reader
will enjoy
the

that spew forth.

Thanks man....

I'm honored as hell. Thanks, man. And thanks for another good one, too.

This is very clever! I think the formatting really makes the poem stand out.

Outstanding- a great tribute to a great storyteller.
