Death By Fondue Fork

by Terry Olynik

He bought the wrong cheese,
Havarti rather than fontina.
He opened the wrong wine,
An un-oaked riesling.
He set the flame too high
And she burned her mouth.

She had no choice.

in the beginning of any relationship everything is sweet and there is no such thing as wrong anything. but then time has a way to make everything that was sweet and right, incorrectomundo and dour, hence these many odd duck slayings.
