Walter

by Terry Olynik

The
Realization hit Walter
From
Out of the blue
And
Sent him
Into
A palpable depression.

On
His sixty-first birthday
He
Was too old
To
Die young.

If I could I would Tell Walter, "There is only one place for the good to go: Great. Glad you didn't die when you were good."

ha, loved this, made me laugh out loud and scare my cat. Those are the best kind of poems :)
