An improbability
To find you in such a place
To have you waiting for me
In a half lit semi empty
Parking lot
To have you uncommitted and yet
Committed
Pledging
If anything
A promise to try
And see where this road would lead
And where have they led
A lifetime of
Memories and experiences
Not easily forgotten
And yet feeling more familiar than
Breathing
A lifetime of memories
And experiences more
Is what you can expect
Because the road is still leading
And it steadily leads to the sun rising
On the horizon.
