This is the story of us
It is not very long now but
It is our story
And it will grow
Tall and strong
With thick limbs
Many branches
And fragrant blossoms
As well as
Deep anchored roots
In the moist black soil.

We met
Parked in front of
A coffee shop
Before a flight
With anxious expectations
On both ends
And the time on the clock
Told that it would be short
But seconds is all it took.

I can’t tell you
Nor do I really know
What exactly this feeling is
But I must say that
A great deal of it
Has to do with what most people
Call love
And I am glad
And I am happy
And I am sure you are too.
