Signs by Uriel TovarWe shall meet each other
Inside of corn fields
When the moon is high and full
Dancing in the dimly lit
Darkness
Tracing our fingerprints
Onto the parts facing out
A beacon
For the others.

| Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 12/01/12 at 02:40 AM I like the idea of the corn fields as a meeting place in terms of the height and rustling aspect, a bit mysterious, an outside place with privacy. Loved the fingers tracing onto the out facing parts. Corn fields where I live are vast and walking down through them will paper cut you to shreds unless you are fully clothed. Mazes through corn fields, on the other hand, provide delightful paths to explore and have become a harvest time tradition. |
