he's the subbasement of tone
where beats thump
and pitches drip with the dirt and grime
of an underground cacophony;
it's splattered with broken glow stick juice
and beer that has already gone stale

he hums and radiates a groovy bass line
that sways hips and inspires bad decision

this sound breeds in concrete box rooms
and seeps into the skin of each
empty shell house party zombie it can find
until their veins (if they are even still pumping)
are flood only with the booze, sweat, and tears of last night
