Fate
a controlling
and ambiguous
and unromantic
force that thinks
it can govern my actions;
but I cannot and will not
choose to succumb to what
this word, ambiguous and arbitrary,
seems to think it can make me believe
about the world and about whether or not
anything does or will ever exist between you and i.
