No brain, no pain

by Timothy Wilson

Perched upon the parking garage, the climax of an uneventful life
staring into a hostile sky her silent suggestions lead me here
to watch the Apocalyptic doom rain from the heavens to earth
Stepping to the edge of the concrete view,
A wave of epiphany sieges my everything
A last gasping struggle and the world is dead
This tragedy was just an event, and the universe unscathed
And I wish she would have just told me that nothing matters anymore
But it's never that simple with her.
