A new start and a fresh page
by Agnes HallI'm so glad to begin to untangle
my knotted heart and soul strings.
I'm loosening and massaging each one
nursing them back into perfect health
so they can once again be
plucked and played
and perform a delicious melody of freedom.
The edges of my being are unfurling
into every last limb and atom
so once again
my brain complements my soul
in a harmonious duet
