Stupid

We all want what we cannot have.
Never have those words
meant more to me than this moment.
You were right there
in front of me from the beginning
All of the things I knew that I
needed
and even some I didn't know
I needed...until now.
And it is too late.

If I repeat the word enough
maybe it will lose its meaning
and when it courses through
my thoughts
