Man who walks in the light by Timothy WilsonThere is a man who knows no darkness
He emerged from black abyss and has never looked back
Everyday he’s filled with joy and sincerity
Even in the face of tragedy, his spirit never falters or breaks
There is a man who knows no darkness
His journey is long and meaningful
It is paved and easy but heavily lined with gold and triumph
His gait is simple, light, and precise
There is a man who knows no darkness
His focus clear and steady from dusk to dawn
The black of unknown has parted with him like an old man with his hair
He is the light at the end
There is a man who knows no darkness
He is the man who walks in the light
07/11/2011 Author's Note: This is a simple free-verse poem used to show the simplicity and freedom found in true enlightenment. The repletion is to demonstrate how sometimes even the simplest ideas can answer powerful questions, and thus need to be fed to us many times for it to stick.
