The Map to my salvation was in another man’s logic by Timothy WilsonOf far away distant lands I would dream
Past the realms of what my world may seem
Atop a pedestal hoisted the things that I thought to be me
But the life inside wasn't for one to hear smell or see
Balancing relationships and harboring grudges
I prayed for the answer but God never budges
He never told me until this day
Forgiveness is truth and to him, the only way
The man I was to the man I am
A change like the snapping of a rubber band
When all was clear and all was lit
I forgave my past (yes, all of it)
I forgave the poverty taking food from my plate
I looked at the world with a fresh new slate
I smiled inside for the conquering of demons
I reached out to the homeless the forsaken the heathens
An end to my suffrage alas’ I had found
I cried tears of joy “I am heaven-bound”
So if my words more happy become
Please don’t forget the Journey, the conundrum
Learn from me as my wounds received suture
We’re here to learn lessons, we’ll be back in the future
All of my trivial whining absurd
By God I have to help you all, I’ve got to spread the word!
