new situations often lend themselves
to wide-eyed, young sprites with spring
to their step and a sparkle to their eyes.

but eventually all the glitz
golden.
glamorous.
gilded.
reveals itself for the copper
its always been deep down.

by then the sprite is ready to
handle the change.
