Pure Bliss

by Caitlin Schwartz

I saw a Cloud with Ivy circled round
There is no happiness like mine.
Waves splashing, how sweet the sound
The sun on my face feels fine.

Invincibility courses through our veins, as we peer over the hedge
Though we sway with hesitation at the thought of trouble.
My friends and I dove over the edge
We plunged, screaming, into a mirage of bubbles.
