I need a muse by Timothy WilsonMy art is failing
I am failing
My life is failing
Sometimes I feel like I am losing control
And yes I’m failing
I need a beauty
Someone strong to aspire to have
Someone soft to aspire to hold
Someone to care for when I’m hurting myself
Will you be the girl whose soft whispers serenade me?
Can you cast a spell on me to captivate my inner longing?
Can I live for you?
Can I be bemused?

Posted by Alison McKenzie on 01/11/11 at 09:58 AM I hear all this talk about having a muse, and, truthfully, I've never gotten it. Although I have been inspired at times by others and how they affect me, I've never really had just one. Interesting, though, the idea of "be"ing "be"mused....heh.
Posted by George Hoerner on 01/11/11 at 12:27 PM I think we all have a muse. Sometimes we don't feel like it and at times it seems to leave us. I suspect when we think it is gone we are just hiding from it or it is hiding from us. I've not really written for sometime but I know why. So shake it off and look for something that strikes your soul or something that makes your stomach smolder with disgust.
Posted by Gabriel Ricard on 01/11/11 at 09:58 PM It's not your best piece, I'll give you that, but there's still a strong jolt from the tone of this. You couldn't lose that if you tried.
