Wilmont

by Kim Thevenot

You are as beautiful as that flash of light
that burst into existence at wilmont:
that tell tale flash of wrong doing, and
elegant betrayal of your speed to undo and destoy.

There is a delicateness to the second long white
burst that is overlooked and underloved..
and pushes on the finer parts of us
to admit our own wrongs
into our review mirrors.

But your secrets are safe with me little light
pulse brighter and say high between the streets.
I shall love the bits and pieces of you in the morning
streaking tears sure to come in the afternoon.

There's an old-fashioned vibe to this that's very well done. Nice work.

Paradoxical! Each reader will see something different in this "riddle" I am sure.
