Got Strength?

by Christine Thibeault

Little darling,
little man...
too many obstacles for your
tiny heart to stand.
Very first breaths far
too close from your very last...
cradled in your parents arms
your goodbye was in your gasp.
What to do..what to say?
The right words for your parents have simply gone astray.
It isn't fair, it just isn't right...
precious baby boy never had the chance to fight.
Tiny footprints forever written on their hearts,
and from my memory never you will part.
Little darling,
little man...
with your new angel wings I
hope you fly so grand.

What shines through this tragedy is your huge heart, Christine... the people grieving at work are fortunate to know you are close and care so much!
