Yellow Sea

by Kim Thevenot

You slipped beneath my consciousness
Riffled with things I had no intention of giving you access to yet

Pulled apart the finer strings
rubbed them between your fingers to see how they seem
Enjoy- they are silky, captivating, capturing ::watch yourself::

Just a silk screen though,
A curtain
Hiding a show I do not approve of,
An awkwardness that's laughable.

Yet I feel yellow
sick with slipping thoughts sliding down the waterfall front.

To be plucked clean out by you
To do with as you will as, as you wish

And you still sound like the ocean
::ebb... flow... ebb... flow..
crash::
