life -saving click

by Timothy Wilson

Two years past
Two years a new man given so little room to grow
And doing so much with a beautiful woman’s fire
Burning under his destructive rear end

I look back
Gazing to a time of darkness and I can see the light
When her picture radiates and fills the hollows of my eyes
She was reaching out to me with her beauty

Enlightened my subconscious
I clicked on the awe-inspiring woman
Life flashed, began, and was fated for the best
With the click of a social website

I’m not sure how I went from the verge of death
To alive for the first time ever
In a few seconds
But she might know what this troubled boy
Did to let her in
To let her renovate his heart
I don’t think I would be here
If I didn’t like to talk to pretty girls online
