Bus Station (Douglas Arizona)

by Terry Olynik

in
hindsight
it
was
the
wrong time
and
certainly
the
wrong place
to
make such
a
life altering decision
amidst
a
dusty gallery
of
guilty girls
and
border vagabonds

Ah, this reminds me of a recent lonely wait in a bus station that I recently endured. At least you had company. Interesting piece, Terry. and vivid.

This should be scrawled on the wall at every bus station...

What a pregnant pause! I am glad you shared your lines in the midst of the journey. Your poem sets my imagination wandering with you. Thanks.

I can even smell the picture you pose of this "dusty gallery of guilty girls and border vagabonds". Well done!
