I could,
and with these arms
I would be more than willing
should destiny smile our way
in the summer of our setting sun
or even in the midnight tease
when desires rise
to meet our need

we dance around the obvious
with delicate care
we approach and wait.
seasons pass and times do roll
and yet,
no one comes close

they fade away.
vaporize across blazing seas
bellowing,
full of overused cliches
hackneyed phrases of nothingness
and
vanish with the evening breeze

so adventurous
mysterious
