Madness by Alisa Jshe clamped his jaw again
hard,
biting his cheek where no one would notice
the pain,
thinking him stern in his forced reply
he wanted to tell her everything
how the nights dragged on endlessly
with that damned ticking clock
mocking his alone-ness
until the next peek of daylight
creeped through the windows
again...
instead, he muttered
'how have you been?'
secretly wishing he could tear off her clothes
humiliate her
as she did him,
on that fateful night
when she stormed out
ran away,
leaving him alone and stunned
without words
without reason
turning away
he snarled,
what a fool I was to even think
this was love,
ignorant fools
all of them,
who needs any of this
as he picked up his gun
to finish it,
this would definitely be
her end...

| Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 05/24/09 at 02:03 PM Sounds like the good opening scene to a movie Alisa, then flashing back perhaps to show how things got to be this way. |
