We Felt

by Alisa Js

I felt you on a Monday morning
reaching out
between the veil that displaces our present
confines of time,
call it miles
call it geography
yet, your touch was real
upon my skin
and I knew

it was a Saturday night
and I was home, alone
alone with thoughts of you.
your voice inside my head
reminding me
taunting me
driving me towards the edge,
and in a moment
a flash,
you were here
right beside ...

we drifted towards ecstasy's door
closer and faster with each excited cry,
as the harvest moon smiled above

Aside from the darkness of taunting, this makes a beautiful recollection of a night together, make up sex?
