Unvoice

by David Garner

Listen to my unvoice, sweet one.
My audible one forms words too tricky to decipher.
They are codes of course.
And the harder I try, the more jumbled the true thought becomes.
Just listen to my unvoice.

Listen to my unvoice, dearest.
You can hear it my eyes.
After the clearing of my throat after I attempt a vocal thought.
My eyes convey my unvoice perfectly.
Just listen to my unvoice.

In the watery splashes.
In the blinks and the winks.
In the slight shifts and movements.
In the fast dart.
Or slow closing.
In the squint and the width.
In the open circles.
In the unvoice.
Just listen.

Powerful reminder of how we don't always need voice and words to communicate. Body language can sure speak volumes at times.
