Gift of song

by Timothy Wilson

She sang allowed
in key with the angles
Ariculate and bellowing
In the most harmonic of pleasures to fill my ears
I started Thinking about the world surrounding
But it was difficult to depict in my head
The sound ingulfs me now
And chills down the spine
Were sent to enlighten
I turn
She's still singing
ringing pleasing in my ear
One starts to ponder the possibility of what may just happened
and reality sinks back into my concience like a mallot
On the judges wooden podium
Waking
She's been whispering in my ear
"wake up"
I rolled over
kissed her and smiled
I'm up, love
"I'm awake now"
And never had I slept so well as the day she slept by my side
