everything.
forget anything else

how does everything fade away
lose its appeal,
dim down to nothing
fade against the background of
no longer relevant,
every time I hear your voice?
mesmerized, I am

others, left hanging
are dumbstruck
without words…

and I can hardly stop smiling
for this is exactly what I have often dreamt of
on those occasions I dared to.
and now,
you, so alluring
me, beyond fascination
I am swimming in sunshine
rolling in rapturous delight,
spellbound
