The Revealing

by Alisa Js

she stood there, relentless
in spite of
the arrows that came
fire flinging,
there was a water shed nearby
and she thought to herself,
maybe the answer I need, I'll find
inside

he carried himself like a regal warrior
one look at him and you'd know
he was no one to mess with
not one to get on his bad side,
he was a force to be reckoned
and yet, he was kind
gentle
and so very compassionate,
tender with his emotions
his voice, so enchanting
the angels would cry

as she walked closer to this water shed
she heard music, she was certain
but from where?
something was drawing her
something was happening
there was magic perhaps, behind that old wooden door
curious, she peeked inside
around the far corner, next to the rear
she looked

and there by the door
that old, wooden door
was the most amazing man she had ever seen
beautiful in stature
with a gaze that could melt anything
here was the answer
her answer
all she would need

he opened his mouth to speak…

This is phenomenal storytelling on your part, as always.
