For Only You by Alisa JsI can certainly remember the ultimate sensation
that sense of floating above clouds
skipping across rainbows
when everything smiled
and nothing got in the way
of you and me,
the universe bowed...
the thought of you was explosive
emotionally, I was on fire
cannon ball jumps from the tops of high buildings
soaring with sea gulls in flight,
I could have walked on the moon
blazed across the sun
anything was possible
everything was right,
I was enchanted
so intrigued
and couldn't wait for the next time of us
it never came fast enough
and then,
silence...
it's funny how the mind works sometimes
trying to make sense of what wouldn't be right
attempting to understand the impossible,
going over and over and over again
the exact time when that something went wrong
and yet nothing comes to mind,
for everything was perfect
everything was wonderful
it was more than amazing
and will always be so
to me...

| Posted by George Hoerner on 02/19/09 at 01:19 AM Since perfection does not really to sxist, when we think we've found it we want to hold on as long as we can. And for that little while we see perfection! Nice write Alisa. |
