Tilly Pours Herself A Drink by Terry OlynikTilly woke up with the sunrise,
She poured herself a drink.
Vodka and grapefruit juice,
Which she drank over the sink.
Tilly turned on the T.V.,
She poured herself a drink.
Vodka and grapefruit juice,
Tilly felt truly in the pink.
Tilly decided to vacuum,
She poured herself a drink.
Vodka and grapefruit juice,
The task was over in a blink.
Tilly read the paper that evening,
She poured herself a drink.
Vodka and grapefruit juice,
Fingers blackened by the ink.
Tilly went to bed at sunset,
She poured herself a drink,
Vodka and grapefruit juice,
Fast asleep in but a wink.
