Tidal pool

by Timothy Wilson

Her love is the deep waters of brackish nature
That can be found within my eyes
Waters of loonier tendency that pull in and out
Tainted with pain
Purified with laughter

When The night falls
The morning which we cannot speak
The waters will retract to the oblivion
Of my core
with death on the other side
A tidal pool evaporating.
everything I could ask for
