I looked and you were there
in answer to my thoughts, almost
an answer to a prayer I once
believed in,
and yet, never knew as mine.
remaining on these pages
written,
journals full ...

oh! how the vision came alive today!
standing right in front of me
exactly as I'd seen,
so many times
in my mind

I stood mesmerized, petrified
filled with joy
unspeakable,
until you walked away
into another time
back inside my mind

my dream came true
if only, for a glimpse of you ...
