Caution: Contents are Radioactive

by Arianna Woods

She always seemed

The quiet and delicate kind

Who'd have thought she could

Break you like this

When will you see?

Those flowers are long since dead

She never even put them in water

The ring you gave her

Has rusted completely

It's rotting in a landfill now

Some 20 miles away

And you'd better build a bomb shelter

Someone new is coming on

Fast as a freight train

And she's far too unstable

For a nice kid like you

So get ready

Prepare yourself

Cause you'll never be the same

Once she comes around

That's a hell of a warning. Good stuff, too.
