Night Salt

by Alisa Js

every word you say
a different clue
every glance you drop
another side of you
i'm guessing
by the color of my eyes
you're guessing
the disguise i hide behind
all the plans you make
a separate path
all the signs i take
directing you
to stay here
find eternity in my heart
just stay here
because it's one good word
for every one
i/you
won't/don't
say

Catchy word choices and construction lead to a pleasant if not serious read Alisa. A little pepper to go with the salt I'd say. Have a great summer!

like a game of hide and seek your words dance, Alisa.

Fantastic writing and why are we so afraid to say that one good word? :-)

Fascinating comment on the intricacies of a relationship and the meanings we construct based on a look or an image in a dream or fantasy. I like the interplay of mind, heart, and human interaction.
