Ponderings by Alisa JsIm slung out
Far past any point of redemption,
Its quiet here
No mashing of teeth
No grinding of fists
Just an eerie calm,
With all volume turned down
And I ponder all I see
Without eyes,
Only emotions
Set in mid-range
No extremes,
I kept searching for clues
Any sign to prove
To myself,
You still cared
Like you used to,
Between every speed bump
I kept looking
Kept needing to believe,
We were more
Than some shared inconvenience
