Where is truth
in the under belly
in the wire
unread
for fear of
censor
in the freeest country
in the world
allegedly

I am biased to be sure
that this one can make a difference
no pressure
except that the world
depends
on you
to be great.

There is too much
to ask
of regular people
the ordinary
who make the rules
that others write about

There is a today
thay reaches past tommorow
and lives in its juices
more than reality can bare
I lived so long
avoiding the traps
that I wish now to be
trapped by
because


I lack devotion
to the cause
on my own
There is something meaningful
if not perfect in
being trapped.
Despite reluctance for
survival's sake
I'm trapped
in condemnation
forever

In the fact that this death
is permanent
in its resolve
and my reliance
on that death
for survival
for meaning
in life.

Author's Note: I watched the Life and Times of David Gayle and feel cheapened. Is it wrth a watch---yes---because it puts you in a meaningful state of mind. What that meaning brings is up to the reader to identify.
