unfinished simile (I WILL BE Back)

by Gregory Oregon

i hold you in a light
that the sun couldn't shine
i have you up so high
that if seen at night
you would be mistaken for a star in the sky

i speak of you so sweetly
that bees buzz around
the sound
of my words

i look at you so lightly
that i have to hold on to something tightly
to keep from floating off the earth.

bowing reverently
humbled by what i see
i have fallen to my knees
praising your love
i hold you above me

Your eyes fall over me like a summer sun
Your smile is more divine than an angel's prayer
Your touch is softer than a feather's fall
Your Love...is more than
these words could ever paint

so i leave you incomplete
until the day
i find the right words to say
i will pick up the pen
and pick up
from where
I
left

Beautiful sentiment, man. Wonderfully expressed.
