somewhere in the light a riddle lives
careful to interpret well
this simple parable of the moth and flame

desire awaits within us all
regardless of the mantle shown
or symbols rattled
under dusk of dawn
smiles are indeed alluring and roses, too
beware the sweet regalia

this hieroglyph of the mind
captured by the shadow's sign
subconsciously filed
in the annals of the divine...
