Recalling an hourglass in shape, the ravages of time and the remains are here. What art (even more than memory) can do, keep who, what we love alive... shown simply, "but" (film, poetry, all the arts) the conjunctive sieve that allows... beauty to persist in spite of tragedy. The second stanza tributes --quality-- that gives highest value.
