Panicked Fear by Alisa Jslet the levy break free
let the deluge begin
it's been draining far too long
drips on the window seal seep
screaming against that wide-eyed sky
clarity flashed in a moment
blew past the veil and I realized
intentions matter not in the face of perception
bogged down and slimy with extreme prejudice
years of delusion
idealistic dreams
vanished in that shortened breath
voices, mad voices
still struggling with rage
panicked and mistaken for feelings of flame
candle burns at the core

Clarity comes in such a surprising rush at times. Leaving a path of emotion in it's wake...
Love you..hugs.. rereading..
