See You Next Year

by Johnny Crimson

Her handmade thighs formed angles
perfect for the snapshots
in my mind

Camera under the table
your skirt is under attack

Every 5 words or so
you glance at me
Quite the wise smile
Shows that she knows

She knows I'd rather take
her down below
Then stare at my dinners capillaries

Out of gigabytes and out of control
This camera phone
must be returned to my coat pocket

My chance had come as she
left the table
I pictured myself gently sliding
off her stockings

Then she'd lick that space between
her thumb and index finger
as she would grab me all in silence

And by the time Id warmed the heart of her skirt
She'd have me in her
at the edge of the bed
Defying and proving gravity
over and over again

Anyways as I entered
the room with the coats
She was standing there just waiting
as I expected

Not knowing where to start we stared
And as I steadied my stocking pulling hands
A sarcastic "hello" escaped from her lips

Backing her ass to me
she
pulled off the sweetest spin move I had ever seen
and headed out the door

Erect and alone
I stood with outstretched arms
I noticed she had left her coat
as the rest of the house went dark
on Christmas night

Running blindly to the dining room
I grabbed her empty glass
Smiling now
I knew I'd find her
soft pale body
somewhere in the driveway
keeled over in snow

Now that's how Christmas should be done, and New Year's, and Valentine's Day... Excellent work.
