Real Lovers by Alisa JsI lingered longer than I should have, I know
But I just couldnt turn away
Watching them, I could so easily see
How they blew away the lies
Were accustomed to believe
Such horrid and malicious tales
About those with children and decades between them
How courtesy forgets
Romance fades
Tenderness takes a back seat
He reached over and squeezed her small hand without a word
She leaned nearer and smiled,
They knew what that meant
So familiar they were with each private nuance
I felt like an intruder and left
Renewed once again,
My faith in romance and love
