Pick at it!

by Johnny Crimson

The skeletal structure
of an upright bird
So beautiful in the curves he falsifies

Weaving like metal dust being pulled toward
a nuclear reactor
The extremely precise bones smell like anyones guess

And you've heard of bird chest
Here we show it proudly
He reviles in falsification

And you could never find his mate
For birds do more than bury their dead
They'll live inside her for a week
or however long
the bitch holds heat

Then straight to the stomach she goes
Strand by strand o gut
That stringy bird pose no one really likes

I believe that smilin' bones is the best name ever
Some kind of green bubbly stew
black cauldron and the likes

I hope star eyed bird ghosts haunt your sill forever
