It's peculiar how people make rash statements thatare untrue,
when unknown uncertain lust comes into view.
They tell themselves lies and try to win,
when deep inside they know their chances are thin.

It's really all an elaborate game,
but they don't realize it until they've been put to shame.
For love can be cruel and it can be blunt,
but its seekers must be subtle and not jump into the hunt.
