In Memory

by David Garner

mr. wilson seduced you,
I am sure of it.

he took your questions
and your doubt,

and he infused them
with unfixable intentions.

I remember the longing
in your lipfolds

and the wanting
in your eyelids

and the pain-free death
you planned in your garage.

yikes... sounds like dream memory... what can I say... I love the "longing in your lipfolds" ...it's amost too much to endure in a poem! good.

'the pain-free death you planned in your garage.'

that makes me think of the virgin suicides. *(which means i like it!)
