Trade

by David Garner

you don't have to beg
and you don't have to borrow

you don't have to steal it
here, just take my sorrow

one man's sorrow is another man's joy
one man's torture is another man's toy

i'll give you ten of this
for ten of that

you can have my shoes
if i can wear your hat

ten of these
for ten of those

you can have my uniform
if i can wear your clothes

let's trade.

great. at least something happens around here. if peole can't buy and sell or see eye to eye... at least they can "trade". a vibrant swing to this... as life goes by, and what looks good from the outside in... well we'll see how it fits after in's inside out. This could be a song.
