Groove by David Garner
We are intended to move
so we move.
We are intended to rest
so we rest.
We are intended to move
so it's true
that we must move
so we can rest
so we can move.
Now, it's important to consider
the mind of a sitter:
Does he sit so he can rest?
Or does he sit so he can move?
Some would say that on your butt
that you are just in a rut,
but if you sit so you can move
I would say you're in a groove.
Is it a groove?
Is it a rut?
Is it a groove?
If you're always on the go
and you never take it slow,
some would say you're living well,
but to me that's living hell.
Is it a groove?
Is it a rut?
Is it a groove?

| Posted by Kathleen Wilson on 11/13/07 at 08:15 PM you are absolutely right about this. I so connect with your way of thinking... and this very basic illustration... as... the spring has to be inner coiled in order to spring out and always and in everything, the pulling back that gives power, energy, fresh spring to what "move" means. |
