Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 10/19/07 at 04:19 PM Well written description of people I have known - definitely exhausting - how does one help them to relax with themselves?

Posted by Gira Bryant on 10/20/07 at 07:49 AM Abraided, perhaps? But I do know/have met women like this yes, and they are truly exhausting. Lethal when combined with charm.
Posted by Alisa Js on 10/20/07 at 08:27 AM this one so aptly describes the masks so many wear... all the while deceiving even themselves.. well done.. aloha
Posted by Steven Kenworthy on 10/22/07 at 07:41 PM my favorite part of this poem is the fact that watching someone pretend to be something they're not is extremely exhausting, and you captured that. a fake smile is like a small flame...who knows how long it can last until it burns out and we all see what lies in the ashes and remains? strong, pretty in a kind of fragile way and pointed. fine stuff gs.
