It's a Man's World by Genevieve Sturrockthe world is coming to an end
buildings crashing to the ground
in loud rumbling thunder
cars flying through the air
and people screaming for help
as they get smashed by the debris
the ground shakes as
the giant robots stalk forward
tearing up the railroads
in their pursuit of the dinosaurs
the pirates are making
a good defense from the top
of their plastic boats
waving their little swords
and shooting foam darts
the cowboys gave up the ghost
after their campsite was
scattered by the thoughtless
meandering of the
bright blue anaconda
and over the noise and chaos
of the world's demise
ringing pure and clear
as the most perfect
of crystal bells
floats the laughter
of boys as they
satisfy their inner
lust for world

You've got it down pat, my friend. Great write. But the men don't know it yet, it's a Women's World too. Yeah and that's about right, some men not acting like a man. They act like little boys at times. |
