hidden inside this storehouse of fears
blindsided by lying threats,
listened too long to doubt's menacing bluff
that cowardly laid me down low,
slashed by counterfeit cries
flying in the face of reason,
what a deadly abyss
whose only intention was to ruin
everything and anything
I ever believed and knew ...

with this new insightful refraction
let us run through those waters
now threatening to separate
the very consideration we've peered up against,
with hearts beating fast
and foot steps now louder
quickly my love, step on through
I am thunderstruck ...
